One thing I always get asked is, “Why don’t you brush your hair?” Now for a lot of you curly haired peeps out there like me, you know EXACTLY why we don’t brush our hair, especially when it is dry. You’ve all seen the meme but just in case you haven’t… For you, it may seem funny. For us, it’s none other than the reality that we have to deal with every single day of our lives. Of course you could get your curly luscious locks chemically straightened, but hey, where’s the fun in that?! Not to mention the extravagant amount of money it will cost you… Please don’t mention the money, please don’t mention the money, please don’t mention the money… Too late, I already did. Sorry. Never the less, there are several things that you can do to tame your mane that may work for you. Depending on whether it’s the frizz or the fall of the curl you want there are endless possible treatments, natural and chemical, that can work for you. Personally, I like to try the natural ones as most of the ingredients are things that you have in your cupboards at home or can get easy access to at your local grocer or supermarket. They are also safe, chemical free and you know exactly what is going in it. Natural Hair Masks. My top 5 natural hair masks that seem to work for me are: 1. Banana Mask
2. Strawberry Mask
3. Beer Mask Now I know this is going to sound extremely weird but don't knock it till you try it!
4. Pumpkin and Honey Mask
5. Apple Cider Vinegar Mask
Even though this is just 5, there are endless variations and adaptation out there so find what works for you! What’s your secret home hair mask recipe? Vote on your favorite below!
